Great win, guys!

Could I please some more of Milligan's mom? It's like there was a camera trained on her the entire game and someone programmed it to switch to that camera anytime his name was mentioned. Jeeeeez.......NOT HOT!

Great job Bucks!!! I love this quote from Butler.

"This is what happens when you put an NCAA tournament team in the NIT," Butler yelled, surrounded by his teammates after beating Massachusetts 92-85 in the title game Thursday night. "Write that down and send that to the committee."

I think that sums up the NIT run very well. Good luck Butler, Hunter, and Terwilliger you will be missed.

Great job last night by everyone......I am really impressed by the young guys on this team.....they grew up in the past few weeks.

Butler, Twigs and Hunter will be missed next year and I am hoping Kosta waits another year to jump to the NBA.....what a performance by him last night. Turner continues to get better.

Next year should be very exciting........

Congrats Bucks on your victory in the "Mecca of BBall" MSG. You guys did your Coach (and Staff), teamates, University, Conference and fans proud with your class and effort.

JBut, Twigs, and 'Thelo, thanks for the memories, you'll go down as hard working classy Bucks who did not quit on your "guys" when left out of the big dance.

Coach Matta and staff, congrats on taking this group of individuals and turning them into a team playing very good BBall at the end of the season who no team (including the Final Four entrants, not saying we'd beat any of them, but we'd sure fight our hardest and give them a tussle) would relish facing. Even in a down year, you give us fans reasons to be proud of our team.

The youngsters really impressed me during this run, Light played tough defense and contributed offensively, Turner shows the potential to be special, PJ showed flashes that he can be a solid contributor next year, and Dallas showed signs of the dominance to come, he'll make guys think twice about entering the lane, and he rebounds with a vengeance.

You guys have made me even more enthused about next year, as I think the Bucks can return to the national conversation.

To the returning youngsters (hopefully you among them KK) take this learning experience and work your behinds off this off season.

It does a young team alot of good to get those extra games. Great performance and congratulations guys!!!
Well, I guess I'd argue that 4 of those 5 games weren't exactly challenging for the full 40 minutes -- so I don't know that there is that much payoff to the extra games, but I think we saw over the last two games, particularly w/ Lauderdale and Turner, how much benefit there is to 15 extra practices. :wink2:

Obviously there isn't much a coach is going to teach Butler, Twig, and Lighty in a month, and they're going to get their minutes regardless. Lauderdale and Turner really stepped-up when needed most, though.

Last nights game was quite funny, because the stats don't seem to equate to what I think I watched. For example, UMass shot 12-33 (.364) from beyond the arc. It felt like they were shooting at a .900 clip. Hunter wound up with a pretty impressive line, despite that what I watched left me feeling frustrated that Hunter didn't seem to have his head in the game early and wasn't hustling on the boards.

Hunter played well and quietly got 9 boards and 3 blocks, but I'm disappointed because I think he should have had 15 boards. Lauderdale, on the other hand, really shined in his limited minutes.

Great job by the entire team. Too bad this season has to come to an end now when the team is finally coming together. Best of luck to the seniors and hopefully with some hard work we can be dancing next year.
