Actually, I assume that he's just being strategic and publicly questioning his team's manhood to motivate them so that there isn't a repeat if they get us again in the CFP. I don't think it's an especially smart way to go about it, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that that's all this is.

There's certainly a better chance of success than helicopter coaching them with last year's approach: "poor Bammers didn't want to be there"

Tom Herman was asked by Alabama coaches, how did they lose to us. Herman told them that they did not take Cardale seriously enough. But for Saban to come out wth this statement is kind of lame to me. Why on earth did Saban wait six months for him to come up with the excuse that some of his players, played not to get hurt, is a real cop out thing to say
