NFL Rumors (Trades/Free Agents)

Maybe you are right. Just curious but what other good cornerbacks are on the market if we don't go after Clements especially after Asante Samuel is off the market. Still the buckeye in me would love to see Clements in a Browns uniform.

Word from Browns camp is that Clements is seeking a signing bonus of over 20 million. The Browns feel that Mel Tucker is more than capable of coaching up a cheaper CB. Look for the Browns to go after Rod Hood (Philadelphia Eagles), Travis Fisher (St. Louis Rams), or Tory James (Cincinnati Bengals).

I don't buy your claim that you appreciate a Bungles joke as much as anybody, in fact, I would venture to say that the joke hit a sore spot that Bungle fans may have about the actions of their players. When someone offers up a softball, it should be hit. And the issues that the Bungles have had over the past 8 months with the off the field actions of some of their players has reached the point of offering up softballs. Call it lame if you want, but maybe it hit too close to home.

I'll notify an administrator of your concern about the post (either being a lame joke or the worst on any board ever) and they will be sure to credit your account accordingly.

No sore spot, just saying drop come creativity. The 3-blind mice saw that coming. If you think it is such a great post, fine by me. If you can't accept the challange to think of something creative, again, fine by me. Tell whom you will. If you think it is so great, why are you going to such lengths to defend it?

Regardless, this is my last post so far off the topic. If you want to continue this, pm me. My intent wasn't to anger you or anyone else. Just to challange you to post something more clever. Peace!

God help you if you deside on James. I'd love to see him getting torched by CJ and TJ.

I will not root for any team Pacman Jones is on and feel sorry for his future teammates wherever they are.

With all of his off the field problems and the fact he has not exactly shown that he is a super stud on the field, I can't imagine any team wanting to gamble on him, or give up anything of value to acquire him. I think Tennessee is stuck with him.

As a Bills fan I sure hope we trade this guy!!! We have A-Train as our back-up maybe we can draft Pittman :)

Don't really understand why you would want your team to trade away a good back like McGahee. The Bills traded away a 1000 yard rusher in Travis Henry because they were sold on McGahee.

Personally I think he is a very good back behind a terrible OL...but he has made numerous comments on how he wanted buffalo to move to toronto because buffalo is too boring of a city for him...he also is going to want more money than the bills are going to give him next year so we might as well trade him off this year and still get something out of it is their perspective

RB Adrian Peterson appears to be the Cleveland Browns favorite pick at No. 3 should they stay put. But, according to the Dayton Daily News, the Texans are interested in moving up the draft board for a shot at Peterson and could propose a trade to the Browns that would send starting QB David Carr and draft picks to Cleveland for the No. 3 position.

Here are the rumored draft picks...

with Peterson running his 4.38 the other day, Houston wants him bad enough that they would be willing to offer their 1st and 2nd picks plus Carr to trade up.

Could we be lucky enough for this to happen?.....

Wow, that would be the ideal situation for the Browns. The only thing that really scares me about that is would this make it more likely that the Browns would draft Quinn if he were still available at 8? I have seen some mock drafts that have the Texans picking him at 8.
