NFL Rumors (Trades/Free Agents)

Man... if we could get Dielman and Steinbach with a possible addition of Clements at corner that would be a great offseason indeed. If this happens that would be 2 years in a row that the Browns had a really good FA pickups. Honestly do we really have that much Cap room to sign all these guys? Go Bucks, Go Browns!

We Brownies have a little over 30 mill to spend.

Thanks for the info. Cornerback6. Well if we have that much and most of these big time free agents want 7-8 million a year then it sounds like we could afford Dielman, Steinbach, and Clements. Also we would have like 6 million to spare on any other free agents. With that 6 million left over I wonder if we could address some of the issues with our D-Line by adding someone. Does anyone think we might add a D-linemen in free agency or are we better off to address the D-line needs with players in the draft?

Don't forget that we need to sign our picks. There goes another 8-10 easy. So if we're going to get 3 guys at a total around 20 mill, that's probably the limit for us.

Damn, I can't believe I forgot about that. Well actually I can most of our draft picks are usually forgetable.:wink2: Well just as long as they don't take Charlie Weis's lover Brady Quinn I think I will live. Go Bucks, Go Browns!

I think Nate is going to command a little more money than he is worth and some team is going to be more than willing to pay it. When I take off my homer glasses, I think there are far better values at CB than him.

Maybe you are right. Just curious but what other good cornerbacks are on the market if we don't go after Clements especially after Asante Samuel is off the market. Still the buckeye in me would love to see Clements in a Browns uniform.

If you are going for humor, you do. I can appreciate a good Bengals joke as much as anybody, but this is just lame. Who didn't see it coming?

If you are going for serious insight (which I highly doubt), then that is the worst post on any board ever.

I don't buy your claim that you appreciate a Bungles joke as much as anybody, in fact, I would venture to say that the joke hit a sore spot that Bungle fans may have about the actions of their players. When someone offers up a softball, it should be hit. And the issues that the Bungles have had over the past 8 months with the off the field actions of some of their players has reached the point of offering up softballs. Call it lame if you want, but maybe it hit too close to home.

I'll notify an administrator of your concern about the post (either being a lame joke or the worst on any board ever) and they will be sure to credit your account accordingly.
