NFL replaces Pro Bowl with 'The Pro Bowl Games' featuring weeklong skills competitions, flag football game

The NFL is replacing the Pro Bowl with weeklong skills competitions and a flag football game, the league announced Monday.

The new event will replace the full-contact showcase started in 1951. It will be renamed "The Pro Bowl Games" and will feature AFC and NFC players showcasing their football and non-football skills in challenges over several days. The 2023 Games will be held in Las Vegas, and the flag football game at Allegiant Stadium is Feb. 5.

Complete and utter bullshit on that call right there. "Offsetting" my ass. 15 yard penalty on the late hit should be enforced. Offsetting for both teams getting unsportsmanlike I can stipulate even though the penalty on Shephard was weak as hell.

They have absolutely got to change that damn rule. Offsetting should be at least near equal for it to happen. You can't get 4 or 5 penalties on one team and 1 for the other and call it offsetting. Farce!

:slappy: Aikman taking pot shots at Indiana … Hendershot with nice catch and run with a hurdle .. Buck goes “Making Indiana football proud” … Aikman quips …”doesn’t take much”. Then Buck was like oh man… and Aikman was like choking back the laughter says “i’m sorry that was called for”

As is the case with "Thursday Night Football" for the remainder of the season (and the foreseeable future), Amazon Prime Video will exclusively broadcast the games to the national audience.

Viewers in local markets will be able to watch the game on local networks. This week, the Dolphins will be on WSFL39 in Miami, while viewers in Cincinnati will be able to catch the game on ABC9.

The Canadian audience can watch the game on TSN1/4, CTV2 or RDS2 for the French-speaking audience.

Unfortunately (in my area) it's only on Amazon Prime.......

You need a wife like mine who signs up for Prime and tells me after I find out about it months later. Turns out there was no need for a meeting.:slappy:
