Hmm... I don't see Ohio State putting cardinals on their jerseys anytime soon (knock on wood)...

The bird is a cross between a pelican and a phoenix, the pelican representing the state and a phoenix to represent the Katrina recovery (rising from the ashes). Tulane will be have new jersey as well when they play LSU and they will sport that bird emblem too.

In the Dispatch they had a photo spread of some of the players wearing those grey uniforms.

I'm glad they made them in grey, I really like them.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the Syracuse game thread, but both teams on the court will be wearing this kind of jersey. Should be kinda weird to see two teams wearing the exact same jersey with different colors.

Mili, he's saying they are virtually identical designs. Obviously they won't say ohio state.
