With each new "modern" uniform I see unveiled the more I appreciate ours. I hope I never see our team donning one of these silly-ass garbs with curly stripes, black jerseys, and whatever else these jokers are wearing.

UNLV looks like an AFL team - Grand Rapids comes to mind. Cal's new duds look like something from the SWAC.

Honestly, I think this is an improvement. Standard block numbers are never wrong but these numbers look like they better match the VT logo. Disagree about the piping. It was awful.

That said, there is absolutely, positively, no scheme, design, or uniform elements that can possibly make maroon and orange look good. This is the single worst color combo in all of sports, anywhere in the world.

As such, adding a TON of orange makes it a lot worse. They barely used orange in the last uniform, which was just right.

Hey nike, maybe you can sneak a few more items into the top middle space there :roll2: (maybe three tiny triangles for claw marks)

My scUM friend was saying something about the inside of scUMs new uni's have the dates for their national titles, big 10 titles, and the quote "those who stay will be champions"

Thought that was a cool idea even if it is scUM
