Game Thread Nebraska @ Ohio State - 11/03/18, 12:00PM (FOX)

He quit. His team quit. I don’t care if he ever played a down again. He walked out on this team. He should be on that sideline for his teammates and he walked away. You can’t tell me that doesn’t have a psychological impact on the players he pledged to lead as a captain.

I didn’t let the coaches off the hook. They’ve sucked.

Bosa was on the field when Oregon State and TCU were scoring TDs from 50, 80, and 90 yards - the defense wasn't good WITH him.

But if the rest of the team falls apart because he isn't there that's on them and their coaches. Soft as hell.

The last 2 and a half games have been light years away from beating Michigan. It's going to take one helluva turnaround for that to happen.

Right now, it wouldn't even be a close game.
If they don't beat this team they never will...

I wonder why we dont try Tate? I know Haskins is good but even Marty Brodeur gets pulled. 16 points against this POS team? Much of the same vs Purdue?

No one is untouchable and I think "pulling the goalie" here maybe can provide a spark.

Can we save the "millennial" nonsense for someplace else? It's trite and overdone and has fuckall to do with the game. The players are on the other side of the field are the same fucking age, so it's just silly to blame the kid's generation for their performance.
I wasn’t, everyone missed my point. But yes, it doesn’t belong here.

Starting to shift some of the blame here from the coaches to the players, coaches can't force these to guys care.

Can't agree with that. Getting your team to buy in and play with energy is one of the core jobs of a coach, especially the head coach and coordinators. You have to get your players to buy in to your leadership and believe that if they play hard they will be successful. That starts with recruiting players that have that kind of energy.

Right now the players don't trust the leadership of their coaching staff. If it's just on the players, it's still on the coaches by proxy since those are the players they chose to recruit.

Fumbles by KJ Hill, the OL allowing Haskins to get crushed, pre snap penalties, drops, no run game. But we think putting Martell in will somehow fix this horse abortion?

Ok.

LMAO at the millennial slanderers ignoring the boomer who’s thoroughly embarrassed my Alma mater, put cronyism ahead of fulfilling his professionally obligation (which btw is at the behest of the state), and has a history of bowing out when shit gets stale.. peak fucking boomer.

Wait, we’re blaming the “millenial” kids and not the narcistic, egomaniac coach that spent 2 months keeping the focus on his own shattered ego because he got caught keeping a headcase friend on his staff? Here’s a statement, then an apology, then a re-apology because you didn’t like my last one. Oh wait, here’s another interview too.

The narcistic egomaniac is what makes Urban who he is- a top 2 person at his profession. But he was a mess when his world crumbled and he didn’t have control. And he’s been staring blankly since.

My best analogy I can think of the last 3-4 weeks...this team is like a kid or classroom that enjoyed the babysitter or subsitute teacher break, then dad/teacher came back home and it’s been buttoned up fear since.

Meyer isn’t enjoying this and the kids are following.

(Sorry, millenial crying here)

He fumbled off a missed blitz pickup, but other than that he's not an issue. WR continue to drop catchable passes or fumble.

Sorry but Tate us not a savior for this team.
