In reality he was a captain because of his talent. Hey may have even been the quarterback of the defense. Once on the sidelines after he got injured he was no longer a captain. He sat there by himself for those games. I was surprised that I didn’t see him talking to or coaching up the younger guys at that point. Didn’t provide anything so no sense in him sitting there. I put no blame on him. He did what he needed to do and I do believe it was a difficult decision.Yep 2nd this.. You better make damn sure your CAPTAINS don't fucking quit or your team will.
The other captains need to step up, because so far they haven’t. I hope they start bringing in second stringers. That is still better than the talent of Nebraska’s starters and maybe they will have some fight.
