You’ve got former players who are actually in the NFL who come back here on their bye week and he can’t be here because he’s training to be in the NFL? It’s a joke that people don’t see how that affected his teammates.

It has more to do with having to commit full time to classes, being there for the team at practices/games, all while rehabbing his groin to prepare to still depart early for the draft. I don’t know, if I was going to be a top 5 pick and recovering from a decently significant injury, taking classes 5 days a week wouldn’t be at the top of my interests.
