Game Thread Nebraska @ Ohio State - 11/03/18, 12:00PM (FOX)

Just beat Michigan.

I mean, win this game and all the rest too, but yeah. Beat Michigan is my objective. Have to.

The last 2 and a half games have been light years away from beating Michigan. It's going to take one helluva turnaround for that to happen.

Right now, it wouldn't even be a close game.

I get it. You're old so you treat "millenial" as a catch-all griping about young adults.
That's all that shit has ever been about, anyway. "I had it so tough walking uphill both ways ..."; mostly from entitled boomers that want to blame somebody else for destroying the economy.

"Back in my day I got a job by going directly to the manager and not taking no for an answer."

Today, you would be escorted out by security.

They asked what the locker room would be like - whether it would be a clear the gatorade table or what.

You know it'll be "or what". From top to bottom there's no fire whatsoever. There's no Kerry Combs literally crawling up and down the fucking walls - no JT Barrett questioning everyone's manhood - no clear leadership or leaders. The 15 fucking captains this team has is a sign of a lack of true leadership. Captain needs to mean something, it's not a fucking participation trophy.

Thanks for being a leader Nick Bosa. Thanks for being here for your brothers.

Thanks coaching staff for stubbornly refusing to make adjustments DURING THE FUCKING BYE WEEK.

This team has quit. They have it all right there for them and they quit. They followed their leader, Nick Bosa.

That’s bullshit! Bosa has nothing to do with this. I am getting really sick of some blaming that kid for concentrating on his health. There was no way he plays before December so the team needed to learn how to be without him.

I haven’t seen players quit but there is definitely a mental block after the Purdue game and that is on the coaches to get the players past that. The fact that the coaches have done nothing scheme wise to fixes the issues is the real problem.

Two weeks to fix the run blocking and zero improvement. Pad level is way to high that is coaching. If your starters won’t do it you put in players that will. This is all coaching.

I don’t think he’s getting worse necessarily.

It’s the Andy Dalton effect we see every year. Great when the weather is warm, very average to bad when the weather gets cold.

It’s part of the reason solely relying on a passing attack in the Big 10 is a terrible idea.

We’re seeing a culmination of a lot of issues right now. Seems like an entitled group that thinks teams are going to lay down for them, poor execution, and I’m not sure they have the answers at all. I think Meyer/Day feel trapped by Haskins talent and we’ve gotten so far off the path we need right now it will be damn near impossible to get back.

Dobbins had a decent half and nice rhythm. It’s unfortunate he didn’t get the ball more. In the past, that would’ve been the stabilizer.

I agree somewhat, but he was throwing catchable balls that were getting caught even in the rain early in the season. And he seemed to handle pressure against TCU, of which there was plenty. I thought Purdue was the first time he looked like he was struggling, but possibly it was the 72 pass sample size where you got a little bit of everything.

Today, everything is high and a fastball. I haven’t seen him complete a pass farther than 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. I know this is common, and they do a lot of work on the crossing routes, but eventually you have to push it.

He quit. His team quit. I don’t care if he ever played a down again. He walked out on this team. He should be on that sideline for his teammates and he walked away. You can’t tell me that doesn’t have a psychological impact on the players he pledged to lead as a captain.

I didn’t let the coaches off the hook. They’ve sucked.

I’d rather he do what’s best for himself to prepare for the draft, rather than pretend being a glorified cheerleader would have somehow magically made a difference for this poorly coached/developed team. It’s clear Urban needs an overhaul defensively/OL, coaching wise. If he gets that chance or actually does that will ultimately decide whether his head is actually in the long term success of this program.

Yeah, you’re right. You know me. You know how old I am and what I think. I mean, that doesn’t indicate you think you know everything at all. But by all means, you have the world and everyone in it all figured out. Of course.

I know you think millennials are still graduating HS.
And I know you couldn't argue against anything I said -- so you just whined about it instead.
Thanks for proving my point -- you're old and just use it as a catch-all to complain about young adults.

Can we save the "millennial" nonsense for someplace else? It's trite and overdone and has fuckall to do with the game. The players are on the other side of the field are the same fucking age, so it's just silly to blame the kid's generation for their performance.

Clemson would be up 45-0 at the half against this Corn team.
As evidenced by the ass whipping they're handing out to Louisville right now.

2018 will forever be the year Urban hopefully learns this important lesson: Never hire your friends or family. Damn near cost him his job this year and arguably cost him important player development time when he missed all of fall camp.

I think the argument is he could have concentrated on his health in Columbus.
