Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

Lord knows that I wasn't in favor of letting Nebraska in, but now that's done and over with, they really need to step up their shit. They have BTN money now on top of their existing ticket and merchandise revenue. Pelini is clearly dead man walking, and letting him stay is just delaying the inevitable. They should have fired him and dropped huge cash on getting a top tier coach.

I know this is going to come off as negative, but sometimes the truth hurts. They were brought in to raise the football profile of the conference. NOTHING ELSE. Not basketball and not academics. Nebraska was given the golden ticket to do one thing, and they need to start doing it.

You'll get no argument from Nebraska Fan here. You're exactly right, and the time for that "getting their [Mark May] together" is NOW.

@colobuck79 - I still feel bad for Bauserman for that game. The guy deserved a better fate than that.

That was before conference realignment. It makes me wonder if MSU or scUM had been put in the west, like I believe one of them should have been, if Bo still has a job today. I mean seriously, 9-3 will probably be able to win that division and Bo can do 9-3 as well as anyone in the country. Now I believe both Nebraska and Wisconsin are capable of doing better than that on occasion, but at this point it doesn't seem likely to be a consistent happening. I actually feel bad for the countless Husker fans that have basically just witnessed their schools decision to accept mediocrity.
