Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

Not sure if this belongs in the ticket forum but I've got some questions about the gameday experience at Nebraska and I'm hoping some of the experienced Husker fans on here can help me. Feel free to respond via PM. Thanks.
1. I'm renting an RV and driving out there for the game. Are there RV parking lots any where around the stadium and what is the best way to obtain a spot in one of these lots?
2. If there are no lots near the stadium where is the next closest area to consider for RV parking?
3. How is taxi service in Lincoln on game day?
4. Other than tailgates, any establishments near the stadium you would recommend for a visiting fan to pre-game prior to kickoff?
kanton - this was recently posted by a helpful local on the Husker board that I frequent. The City of Lincoln actually sells parking passes for quite a few lots in advance via the website. I see at least one lot which specifically says "RV" and you can buy & reserve your spot right now. I just got my spot for the game against tOSU yesterday via this website, note that half the lots are already sold out in advance!

While I don't think the city controlled lots on this site include all the available parking, it IS a great way to make sure well in advance that you'll have a spot, at a very reasonable price.

With all this shit going on in the Big XII the last week, anybody from Nebraska sorry they moved to the Big 10?

I think Tom Osborne has been quoted as saying he was expecting the majority of fans to be glad about the announcement, but that the actual support after the announcement last year was probably 90-95%, which was higher than he had expected, and was quite gratifying to him.

After the last week or so, whoever that 5-10% was who weren't onboard before - either HAVE to be onboard now, or we're officially disenFANchising them due to gross idiocy!

I'm thrilled that the Huskers are part of the B1G, and virtually everyone who posts on the Husker board that I frequent feels the same! Go B1G!

I just can't express enough how overjoyed I am that we are in the Big Ten. Not that we aren't in the Big XII, but that Perlman and Osborne had the vision and the leadership necessary to make a decision like this.

I don't have any animosity towards the Big XII schools. I don't wish them ill and I don't hope they fail. I am not exempt from schadenfreude, but it is a very tiny part of my soul. I am looking ahead, not behind.

My greatest interest in the developments in the Big XII are from an entertainment and historical perspective. And just a little bit of curiosity to see how close my prediction of 3-5 years of life for the Big XII after 7/1/11 was. Turns out, I may be very bad at predicting things like this.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Looks like your prediction might be spot on.

I like how on Shaggy Bevo there's a three-page thread about this video. Half think it's stupid, half say "It's the Shag. It's what we do."

EDIT - by the way, she's on the dance team, the Scarlets. These are our cheerleaders:

"stupid" is not the word i'm coming up with. i certainly didn't find it funny.

Agreed. I've never understood why a person being fat is funny. But whatever.

Fat? She's not fat. She's just right the way she is. You could be a bit more sensitive with your word choice.
