Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

Two Nebraska football players quit the team today. One was 4-star RB Jordan Stevenson who first committed to Wiscy but couldn't pass admissions. Reports are that he's got some maturity issues.

The second is senior OT Matt Finnin. He played in 8 games last year but apparently isn't getting p.t. this year because new OL coach Mike Cavanaugh doesn't believe in rotating his OL to keep the starters fresh. I think we might have identified one of their (many) problems.

If MSU had a running game they could close out games when they have a two score lead. If they had a strong secondary, teams couldn't score quickly on them. You can't blame a loss on one bad call.

Unless you're a Miami or Penn State fan, of course.

I'm unaware of Miami losing a game on a bad call, just of them winning one.

That should have an asterisk next to it.

Okay, stop with that man, lol....

Everybody is whining this AM about that one blown call. How about the no call that should have been PI that was an OBVIOUS PI call earlier in the game. ESPN even had video of the back judge WATCHING THE ENTIRE PLAY.

Bad calls are bad calls. But I deal in logic, folks. So:

Code:
Dim SpartyWins as Boolean
Dim CornWins as Boolean
Dim RefsSuckBalls as Boolean

Try
   If SpartyHoldsOnToInterception = True then
      CornWins = False
      RefsSuckBalls = False
      SpartyWins = True
   ElseIF SpartyStopsWesty = True then
      CornWins = False
      RefsSuckBalls = False
      SpartyWins = True
   ElseIF CookThrowsItAwayEarlier = True then
      CornWins = False
      RefsSuckBalls = False
      SpartyWins = True
   Else
      CornWins = True
      RefsSuckBalls = True
      SpartyWins = False
   End If
Catch exRefsAlwaysScapegoats As Exception
      Dim SpartyBeenPlayingWithFireAllYearLong as Boolean

      If SpartyBeenPlayingWithFireAllYearLong = True then
          CornWins = True
          RefsSuckBalls = True
          SpartyWins = False
          MikeRileyGetsLaid = True True True True True True True True True True True True
      End If
End Try

Yes, MikeRileyGetsLaid is an instantiated object from another class :biggrin:

Yo dog, I tried to compile this but got a WideReceiver Out of Bounds exception! 8D

Disclaimer: if you don't like programming / digital logic, spare yourself and read no further.
I've seen a few of these in the past and always wondered why have both xWins and zWins variables as they're mutually exclusive outcomes. If xWins==Q, then zWins must always be Q' and vice versa. Using team records (ie xRecord=xRecord++) would make more sense to me but then I guess the muggles would be even more lost.

BTW is Riley's class the different women he lays, or is it a weekly/monthly thing?

It's been fun watching the Nebraska fans on their emotional roller coaster ride this season. Of course, now that they've had their first win over a top 10 team this century, they're going to win all the rest of their games. A week ago they weren't going to win any.

Hopefully Iowa goes in there and pounds 'em to end their season and their bowl hopes.

:mad1:
I hope Nebraska pounds Iowa back to the Stone Age.
