That's not even half the thread. Anyone who wants to get a feel for how Husker fans actually feel about this, go to HuskerBoard and read the thread. But don't come over here with a select few quotes intending to incite some bullshit response against Husker Fan.

I didn't see you complaining about the two posts I was directly replying to that cherry picked mostly positive quotes from husker forums.

Yes I posted the negative ones intentionally to give a more well rounded view of what your fans are actually saying rather than the bullshit line that Nebraska fans shit only sunshine.

You'll note I took the trouble to copy entire posts & link the actual thread to help keep things in context.

You want to know what a real dick move is? Watching your team behave disrespectfully, jump through hopes to rationalize it & then deciding that instead, it's you who is the victim.

Taking some of the negative things being said by some Husker fans are saying & copying them here isn't going to incite anyone. (Most of) the posters here have are quite capable of rationally looking at it in perspective without losing control of themselves. If you don't like it when assholish comments from your board are re-posted elsewhere...then say something to the assholes who posted them in the first place.

Justify your shit any way you want. The negative comments you pulled were the minority, and a few of them were shouted down on my forum. Don't act self-righteous and claim you were trying to keep things in perspective - if you were, you'd have posted the replies to some of those gripes.

You knew exactly what you were doing.


Here's a fun exercise. Go find all the assholish comments posted here from last year's game that I reposted over in HuskerBoard. Take your time, and do a thorough job of it. Then talk to me about how to behave with respect.

I'll do whatever the fuck I want. You could shut the fuck up about it, especially on a Buckeye site, but whatever.

I don't give a shit about Husker traditions, but if I were playing, I wouldn't even think about being on the field while the home team's band was performing.

I don't think Bo ordered them to interrupt one of, if not the greatest tradition in CFB. Admittedly, I have limited cable and net access these days. I haven't heard him apologize though. He should. That would make me feel better, and I could then gracefully take the win and move on.

Like I said, I've played football and watched all levels of football for damn near 25 years, and that's the first time I've ever seen that. If it were just "awe, shucks, I didn't know", you'd think it would happen far more often.

What I believe happened...is that your kicker knew he wasn't supposed to interrupt the home team's historic band performing at halftime of our homecoming game, but said "fuck it", I need to warm up. And for that, I say motherfuck him and all the coaches and trainers that saw it and allowed it, and Fuck Bo for not coming out and admitting it was bullshit.

If he has said something, I retract my statement about Bo...but of all people, he should know that Script Ohio is sacred.

Oh well, I'm sure Urban won't forget, and he has a history of holding a grudge.

Like I said though, I don't have a problem with Husker fans, minus the few bitching about running up the score or acting like Script Ohio isn't anything to worry about. Fuck those guys.
