WOW!!! As someone who used to be a former tuba player in a marching band I can't even begin to tell you how hard some of those formations are to pull off. That is the best marching band show....technically, musically, and entertaining wise as I have ever seen!

They live up to their billing as "The Best Damn Band In The Land." Simply an amazing show!

I mentioned this in another thread last night...that band was legit. The best show I think I've ever seen at a college football game.

I felt bad for maher who clearly had no idea the dotting of the I thing was that important.

This in response to the "total douches" comment you quoted - from a guy who's known to be a hothead on HuskerBoard toward pretty much every opponent anyway.

Chalk it up to part of the learning curve of joining the B1G. I'm sure it was an honest mistake and seriously doubt Bo did that on purpose. Heck, for Husker fans, it's not even a mistake. In our minds and our stadium, the band is almost an afterthought of consideration. The main reason people are there is to see football and by George if they need to warmup, the band better get outta the way. However, many of us now know that is not the case with OSU and TBDBITL. It appears to me they have earned that moniker and I doubt we make that noob mistake again.

That's not even half the thread. Anyone who wants to get a feel for how Husker fans actually feel about this, go to HuskerBoard and read the thread. But don't come over here with a select few quotes intending to incite some bullshit response against Husker Fan.

God, I heard it all night.

"Sit down asshole!"

"Quit yelling!"

"Calm down, it's the first half, you're losing your voice!"

"What the fuck, I can't see, SIT DOWN!"

Finally, I turned around and told everyone at the bar that if they expected to come to the bar and watch an Ohio State night game while sitting down, they had another thing coming.

I too took credit for the false starts.

I don't have a problem with Husker fan, but I do have a problem with that kicker and Bo. I never played football past HS level, and I know that going on the field while the home team's band is playing their homecoming halftime show is fucking ridiculous.

I like the Guy that said the kicker didn't know how important dotting the I was. :lol: For as much as Husker likes to vote in, and claim bragging rights in every online poll, it's crazy that no one knew that Script Ohio is always the winner of every greatest tradition poll I've ever seen.

And your Buckeye players don't know jack shit about Husker traditions, so don't try blowing sunshine up my ass about what Nebraska players should or shouldn't know.

Go ahead and think Bo Pelini consciously made a decision to piss on TBDBITL's performance if it makes you feel better.

Or you could gracefully take your win and move on. Whatever.
