Crowd was plenty loud, comparable to some of the bests, I.e.usc, Texas, scum

I think some of this discussion has to include where people are sitting. For the UT game I was in the low A's and it was very loud. For Nebraska I was in mid C's and I didn't think it was that loud. I imagine my proximity to the closed portion versus the open top of the stadium in the different games played a very large part in my opinion.

I am glad that people in the other parts of the stadium heard the noise better. I can tell you that 24C was quiet. There were not a lot of very loud people there - and it was disappointing.

I thought the crowd was the best in a game I've attended since the Michigan game in 2006. It was electric. Though we still have problems since the cops threatened to kick the guy behind us out of the stadium for standing up too much. If you can climb to C-Deck and sit in sub-50 degree weather for 4 hours, you can stand up during the big moments of the game.

The halftime show was also the best I've seen since 2006 Michigan.

I'll have to watch again, but I thought the defense was...improved, despite the points and yardage put up. I think Nebraska is probably the best offense we'll face this year. They gave up some big plays and still missed too many tackles, but it seemed better.

John Simon and Jonathan Hankens are men out on that field.

I know nothing about this, but it wasn't intended as a slight, I can guarantee that. Most likely ignorance of the tradition on the part of the kicker.

Both games with NU have been entertaining. Last year they came back from 21 down to beat us. This year they were up 17-7 and then the roof caved in.

They've certainly been an enjoyable addition to the Big 10 - at least for the two games I've watched. Here's hoping they can start beating TSUN regularly.

Whether it's a tradition like Script Ohio or not really doesn't make a difference. Why are players going onto the field for warm-ups while the band is still playing and performing their show?

I have never seen anything like this before. Incredibly poor showing on the part of NU's training staff and the kickers.

Agreed...I've never seen the players come on the field in the middle of a halftime show at any stadium I've ever been at.
