I'm not sure what the deal was with the kicker being on the field during the halftime show, I've been to a lot of different games in many different stadiums and I've never seen anything like that before. I doubt it was done as a slight to you guys, but you never know I guess. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what exactly Bo is thinking.

As far as Husker fans accusing you guys of running up the score, that's pretty much confined to a small segment of our fan base that clearly has a severe case of being butt hurt. This thread on Husker Max does a good job of showing how 95% of Husker fans feel about that.

A summary:

1. A guy named Big Red Ohio starts a thread "Urban Meyer is classless"

2. Claims Urban Meyer has no integrity for running that last play, says several Ohio St. fans around him agreed with this.

3. Husker fans eat him alive, these are the first 6 posts on the thread that weren't his.

Maybe, but he is a hell of a coach. I also disagree, our D needed to stop them. No mercy asked for or given. He didn't call a long bomb or something.

He ran a trap with the third string RB?!!! Its not like he ran a play-action pass into the end zone. Calling Meyer classless is just being a poor sport, IMO. Blame your DE for not having contain, or your DB for losing his jock.

My God...whaaaaaa I wish we had Meyer at least he coaches his team to play the full 60 minutes...BO as we saw likes to take plays off.

I can't believe all the whining about that last TD. What have we become? Kansas?

Only way the defense could have stopped that last score would have been if osu took a knee. And that's more embarrassing.

In short, almost no one cares about this, and the small minority that do are being made fun of by the majority that don't.

Looks like you guys will have scoreboard on us until next year's Big Ten championship game at a minimum, although I fear it will be longer than that before we have a chance to get you back, and not because I think you guys will have any trouble getting there next season. We appear to be a mess right now. :(

Anyways good game, and good luck the rest of the year. Hopefully you guys can win out and show the nation that the Big Ten has at least one good team this year.

The Nebraska fans next to us were trying to record Script OHIO. They seemed truly embarrassed by the actions of their kicker. And like has been stated, Bo knew exactly what he was doing. Similar to the confrontation when the Bucks tried to come onto the field and their way was blocked by Nebraska players, truly classless. Their fans may show class, but the players and coaches didn't last night.

I've never liked Pelini. I know he's an Ohio boy but he's always come across as a classless redneck to me. He probably told the kicker, after reviewing what we did in the 2nd Quarter "Son, we probably won't be seeing the end zone for the rest of the game, so you better get that leg warmed up plenty before the 2nd half starts."

After thought: After seeing this I'm really glad we put 63 pts on them. Initially I thought that we should have taken a knee before Hyde ran the last TD in. Now? Not so much.

Geez. It's over. It was dealt with when it happened.

I just watched the game after getting home from Columbus. Braxton Miller threw his last pass with 8:43 left in the 3rd quarter. Think about that. Ohio State did nothing but ram the ball down Nebraska's throat for nearly the entire second half. It was hand it off to Hyde (with a few for Rod Smith) and an occasional Braxton Miller run mixed in for the rest of the game.

Did "Todd's Taste of the Town" with Todd Blackledge just stop this season or did it stop prior? Looking at the DVR and didn't see it.

Budget cuts, creative differences, not wanting to kill Blackledge or the fact he'll run out of restaurants in the college towns?

Good question. I loved that segment. To add to that, I really enjoy listening to Blackledge. I think he provides really good analysis without it being overbearing/annoying (i.e. Herbstreit & Danielson). I prefer him to any ESPN guy, other than maybe Bob Knight for basketball.

I have no explanation for this. You'd like Brett Maher. He's a good kid, and wouldn't intentionally piss on anyone's tradition. But there he is.

All I can offer you is apologies, and a shrug of the shoulders. I have zero idea how/why this happened. This is not Nebraska Football.
