This might be the "play of the game". It nullified the INT, saved 7 points, and helped turn around any momentum that Corn might of had at that point in the game.

This was definitely THE key play in the game. If they score on that play we end up losing 22-21.

Special Teams - they really need to find a kicker who can be consistent from 40+. The art of kicking has evolved to where 50+ is becoming more regular in the college game. Punting was better yesterday - statistically the best of the season so far - and being able to flip the field was very important. Returns were ok but nothing spectacular.

After the JT years, its been really hard not watching OSU have a solid kicker - when nuuuuge when on the field you banked those 3 points without blinking

For the love of Jeff.... I'm pretty pissed about the targeting call now. I mean, I guess it's better that we get him back for the first half of the Penn State game, but that play would have won the game a little earlier.

Which brings me to my point... Hypothetical: Nebraska COULD HAVE driven down the field and scored a game-winning touchdown after that. Then, if the Big Ten announces that it shouldn't have been targeting, we have to assume the catch was still made, and then the fumble happened, and Ohio State got a clear recovery. So that miracle game that Nebraska fans just witnessed... they'd have to admit it was a sham, right?

If your team won on a controversial play that went your way on the field, and then was later reviewed and the referees or league or someone apologized and said it was a mistake, do you celebrate that big comeback win?

“During Nebraska’s final drive of the first half, on second down with two yards to gain on the Ohio State 39-yard line, the ball was incorrectly spotted after a run by Cornhuskers RB Emmett Johnson,” the statement read. “The ball carrier crossed the 37-yard line and a first down should have been awarded to Nebraska. “Replay should have stopped the game to review the spot since it involved the line-to-gain.”


This officiating crew needs to find their way to the MAC.

That was next level bonkers. The announcers wondered if maybe the linesman got confused as to who had the ball, because there was a weird skirmish away from the play between an OL and a DL. Which......ok that explains why you marked the ball where you marked it, but now we need to have a conversation on HOW THE FUCK DO YOU GET CONFUSED AS TO WHO HAD THE BALL?
