Actually, that's "The Best Damn Band in the Land". I don't begrudge the media report on that story. It was a great story. I just think Weis comes off a little smug in a lot of interviews and such with all the reference to his SB rings. That means precisedly shit as a head coach at a major D1 program. And just how was the "pass right" report CW's fault? Funny your coach, players, fans go around talking about having the "best band in the land" and you say CWs arrogant?? How many NC's has OSU's band won??
I have no doubt that Weis is going to continue to turn around the Irish program, and I for one am not as big an Irish hater as many other on this board. A resurrected Irish program is great for college football, and I would personally love to see the rivalry between tOSU and the Irish grow further. I think a lot of the resentment comes from the media lovefest that was showered on him last season for, lets face it Chief, basically just hanging tough against college footballs golden boys. Time will tell how far he takes the Irish, but I feel he is indeed the real deal.
I guess we both have coaches that other fans love to hate. Now back to OUR COACH, who now has a 1-0 lead on Mr. Weis.
