Your commercial point is a bunch of CRAP! If people wanted to watch bands and it helped ratings you can bet they would be on. The stations would cut into all the halftime analysis. You honestly think that any fan talks with his buddies after any game about how great the band was? HELL NO!! Bottom line OSU band has never won a NC in band so TBDBITL is a bunch of crap.

Bottom line is that one of CW'S rings is probably worth more than all of JT's. put together. As you all say about CW being fat there is nothing wrong with a statement that is the truth.

As for CW first play story, name one coach that called a play for a child that just passed away. It was a feel good story that made a lot of people smile. In this day and age it is amazing that any of you would dog a person for doing something good. The story sure as hell was alot better than a story of another player getting arrested.

I am still waiting for the year your band won a NC.....

I'm a fan and I talk to people about the halftime show, so what's your problem?

I think you're still jealous that we made an ass out of your team.

I'm still waiting for an explanation for when Charlie Weis surpassed these guys on his way to the ND-proclaimed top-10 list of coaches:

Paterno, Bowden, Stoops, Carroll, Tressel, Brown, Spurrier, Beamer, Fulmer, Ferentz, Carr, Coker, Tuberville, Petrino, Richt, Meyer

There are others, but those are the easy ones to place ahead of this famous offensive coordinator turned media darling head coach.

give it a rest, it's a nickname. I don't remember Jesus calling Notre Dame God's team. On a similar note, catholicism & the fight song have nothing to do with the best team, yet quite the opposite is argued by ND fans, and it should be. It's all part of the tradition.
And as I have said before bands are not part of TV Halftime for a reason.

Are you still seriously griping about a marching band being overrated? If its so insignificant, why are you so worked up about it?

problem is, there's nothing truthful about that statement. So basically Weis' good playcalling on BB's coaching staff earns him bragging rights over a head coach who has been winning his OWN championships? I forgot, BB isn't arguably the best coach in the game right now, with possibly the best QB as well. Weis deserves his hype as an OC, and credit for a solid ND season and great recruiting. Bottom line, that's all he has achieved as a head coach.

If I were backing out of anything I would have done it 5 posts ago. You guys are the one who wont answer band questions.

As for CW he has coached at ND one year and last year he was a top 10 caoch. I did not say of all time.

If fans were interested in bands they would pay attention! DUHHHH!! Wow that was hard to figure out.

I didn't say anything about all time (do you see Bryant on that list?). One 9-3 season does not place him in the top-10 of CFB coaches. It was one season, and worth only one season worth of props. Sustained success is the sign of a top-10 coach.
