NCAA Football 2010 PS3 Super Conference

That's kind of why I waited a week to let the idea sink in, before hounding people for their ideas...

The more I thought about it, the less I wanted to do it that way too.

I agree that having that spelled out from the beginning might be a better way to go. If you do decide to do a '10 to '11 transition, then I'll definitely be taking a scrub team in your dynasty and try to make something out of those bums over a multi-year period.

Or just another BP dynasty, No reason we can't have both

#1 Original BP Dynasty Continued
#2 SuperConference
#3 All created teams
#4 Original BP Dynasty Take 2 (starting from scratch)

Yep... the wife will be divorcing me within a month of NCAA10's release.

Iron, are you willing to have a fictitious team in your super conference? Create a team in Ohio/Texas/California/Florida/Wherever and mirror attributes of an elite program. Not saying I want to do that, but if I am not the Bucks I would be open to do that as much as being UT or USC or something like that.

That would be hillarious if someone created a team in Ohio and took away IBI's easy recruiting

So you saying I could create Ohio University the elite team  Makes up for getting screwed in the early 1900s and make Ord blow a gasket or two :wink2:

I heard EA was putting in a "Ridiculous Rule" to prevent people from doing overly stupid things, like making Ohio anything more than a bad MAC team.

Kentucky is a national program...bitch. :tongue2:

I actually have no idea what state any of my past recruits came from. I would guess by the people that I'm competing against, that many of my recruits come from up and down the east coast, and from the deep south, but I don't know for sure.

You know in the recruiting screen the US Map feature shows you what states you have a pipeline in. Thus letting you know where the bulk of your players are from.

Oregon has Oregon, Washington, California, Texas & Florida. Now THAT is a national program... bitch!!! :wink2:

Ahhhhhhh

Now I find the real reason that Iron killed the MAC dynasty. The Ridiculous Rule.... BASTARDS!!! :wink2:

I don't know...I guess I'd have to give it some more thought.

Example: We have a draft and fanatic is up, likes what Texas offers in personnel, but doesn't actually want to be Texas. He creates his own team in the state of Texas/Florida/California, with the exact same roster as Texas, except he calls it BFE State Tech University A&M, instead of Texas. We then replace Texas with fanatic's created school, and add it to the super conference.

Is that what you mean?

You know, in the prospect search screen there is a category for state, and one of the "state" options is pipeline. You don't actually have to pay attention to what state the players are from, if you know that they're definitely in one of your pipeline states.

...bitch.

Yep. To be honest, I just want to create a team with the most hideous uniforms and blue turf. Make everyone dizzy when they play me.
