NCAA Football 12 + Rosters

Playing as a DC and experiencing some frame rate drops against some of my lesser foes.

Anybody else have similar issues? E.g. QB snaps the ball, PA action, frame rate freezes, then resumes, he passes, frame rate drops, receiver catches ball gets tackled. Repeat.

When I play the top tier teams, there is no issues. but against FCS opponents, or against Army, this has happened.

I just broke a controller playing the most bitch ass POS ever.

Yes, I have a temper. Yes I'm incredibly competitive. You should see me actually play football or basketball.

The shit EA should have fixed hasn't been. Half of it is my fault for not changing my audibles. I was stupid and it cost me.


That said. Anybody see this bullshit these kids are running? Quarter defense. Everybody within 10 yards of the line. Safeties just far enough off and your outside receivers are pressed. Even if they beat the CB they dont get by the safety. You have multiple Dbacks stacked on the right and they call run commit left when you run left. EA fucked up bringing back the run commit and making it too good again.

Linebackers somehow shed blocks of guards because they're just so damn fast. Can't run inside. Cant' run outside. Every year they find new ways to play like a bunch of bitches. Good god.

it's why I refuse to play against randoms in sport games, find more cheesers than real people

buckeye02 released the PS3 rosters under the name GatorNuts0208. A quick look at Ohio State's roster:

Braxton's 77 OVR (Pryor's gone; only 3 QBs on the roster)
Rod's rated higher than Hyde
TY's #15 and a true frosh
Verlon's in
Smith and Spencer need jersey #s fixed
Longo is Stewart Smith
Brown needs to be moved from LG to RT
Ben St. John's the backup C
Norwell's the backup RG
Chris Carter instead of Underwood and at RT
Chase Farris should be #57
Solomon's the starting LE
Bellamy's the backup RE
Steve Miller should be 88 instead of 87
Klein's worse, Sabino's better, but the depth chart is still the same
Whiting is a MLB
Dorian Bell became Curtis Grant (80 OVR)
Moeller's the starting ROLB
Corey Brown needs to be moved to FS or SS
Dionte Allen received the Dual Roster Number Glitch treatment
Orhian's the starting FS
CJ's the starting SS

Overall, pretty good. My biggest gripe is the offensive line, but it's an easy correction. I'll turn Carter back into Underwood and move them around. As for Stewart Smith and St. John, I'll probably turn them into a couple missing frosh. If I counted right, there's still one slot open for a created player.

Finally out! I picked up the game Monday in anticipation that the roster would be out, but it got pushed back a day. By all accounts Buckey02 and Gator said this is version 1, so there will be some changes later. Theres a lot of f***ed up rosters for various teams I heard, but the pressure to release a named roster from these guys sooner than later caused version 1 to come out earlier than they wanted.

I wouldn't ban it, I would just ban playing like a bitch and using it to compensate for the weaknesses of the Quarter d.

The reason I like keeping it in is to burn the D. Run the same play over and over, then run a P/A to that side, the whole D commits, big play. Without the commit, P/A doesn't really do much.

Running the quarter D like that is ridiculous.

I agree on not banning it completely. If I'm down by 8 or less and on D....and there's too much time left on the clock to run it all the way out, I'm going to assume he's going to try to run it down as much as he can. I don't see a problem with run commit in that situation. That's what it's for.....I'm pretty sure you're going to run so I'm committing to that. If I'm wrong, I'm in trouble....but there's 55 seconds left and I need the ball back.


Note: don't worry about me being anywhere near 8 points with 55 seconds left
