bah. At least I haven't done the roster tweaking yet... the thing that took the longest was making the logos and figuring out all of the uniforms. It shouldn't take as long to just recreate them.

NCAA Football 10 Video: West Virginia @ Louisville (Default AA Sliders)

NCAA Football 10 Video: West Virginia @ Louisville (Default AA Sliders)
01

Defense
- The QB drew the DE into an encroachment penalty (where he pancaked the tackle) with a hard snap count (and a brief pull-back view like users use against one another).
- Perimeter defense still looks improved.
- Pass rush is still completely ineffective. WVU brought 6 and all were blocked. One slipped past the RB after a little while. Brought 6 a few plays later and Brohm was still comfortable back there.
- The only sack so far came from the QB stepping up and in front of the pocket (when he should've scrambled for a TD).
- QB "pressure", but it was the product of the OL leaving on a screen.
- 7 min into the video, and we see the first true qb pressure of the day, up the middle. QB dumps it off underneath for a first down.

Offense
- Devine got to the outside once, but has been pretty well contained.
- Louisville's QB is throwing lasers off of his back foot.
- Bubble screen TD was encouraging. The WR had enough space to score, but the LBs & S took a good angle to the play. It would've been stopped after about 25 yards, where in 09, they'd run straight upfield with you for 80 yards.

It looks better, but still not fixed.

Overall, NCAA offers little to get excited about. It is basically team builder plus season showdown, which no one cares for and a couple small gameplay imrpovements carried over from madden.
Itd be 50/50 for me on buying the game. I've waited so long for this, but if they can't figure out, what should be easy, the rosters.. then I don't think they deserve 60 dollars from me.

I play online a lot and like smaller teams, so rosters/ratings are very important.
You can't change onlime rosters..and its not our job to do their job. make them realize as consumers that they can't jerk us around and sell us a brown sack of crap and expect a days work of pay for most college aged students.
Alabama Doesnt Have Numbers on Helments - Operation Sports Forums

The numbers are on the helmets. You just can't see them from the gameplay LOD (level of detail). This is for framerate optimization.
So the numbers are there...we just can't see them. I'm sorry, I appreciate all the work you do and realize its likely an aspect of the game that you had no part in, but to me that is unacceptable. This is supposed to be the "next generation" of gaming and details like numbers on helmets, something thats been there for years, now won't be visible (but are still there).

While not ideal (and yes it's mainly due to 60 FPS) the numbers do appear in post play and instant replay (see attachment).
