I don't think you can, at least in the version out now. Your best bet would be to just create a player for another position, and then switch him over when you finally download it in NCAA 2010.

These rating are interesting. I am importing my oSu team from Pineys dyansty. I just updated a FB who is rated 83 in 09, he came back a 41 in teambuilder.

My UCLA fullback is the same way. He went from an 84 to a 60-something. It looks like this NCAA 10 weighs blocking heavier for fullbacks than it used to. Conversely, QBs, RBs, and WRs get boosts to their OVR ratings.

OSU-UM @ 0:40 min mark.

That perimeter defense & pursuit looks a lot better.

Pryor looks even more cheese-ready for online play.

The option pass play looks useable this year, unlike the 10 second step back in last year's version.

"The Game" appears below the scoreboard as well.

I love seeing "TheGame"

Jesus H Christ Pryor is fast...

Aside from some smaller things, I dont see it being a step up from 09 yet. You still look like you can't play man and containing a QB that fast looks impossible.

6 part video recording of Bama-VTech:

NCAA Football 10 Videos and Trailers for Xbox 360 - Operation Sports

Observations:

This player is not very good.

Some of these break tackle animations seem very glitchy, like playing against someone with a bad connection. Hopefully that is fixed.

The game seems to feature a lot more DL pressure and successful blitzing. Some of that could be Bama's suspect OL, but both sides seem to be very disruptive.

The RB caught the swing pass near the sideline and headed upfield smoothly, without all of that stuttering/stumbling/fall out of bounds nonsense from recent years. Glad to see it, but that is NES level programming that has been missing for years.

ROSTER ISSUE MIGHT AFFECT TEAMBUILDER

Don't have access to the link on Operation Sports, but feel free to check out their board for this issue. Since I know this will affect JWin's Team building efforts... posting without a link or any quotes.

The messed up rosters on Team Builder are actually the 'final' rosters. Not good since alot of teams don't have any freshman and other teams still have seniors from last year still on the team.

The EA guys finally posted on Operation Sports that they are working on the issue and that they screwed up (ie the new roster guy is about to get fired) The problem is since somehow they linked the Team Builder website to these rosters if they were to change the rosters on the final disk they would have to kill all of the teams that have been created via Team Builder. (can't recall how they worded it on OS)

They are trying to find a workaround, and they haven't made a final decision yet. But if you are at hard work creating teams via Team Builder, I would take a break and keep an eye out on the gaming boards to see what will happen. Cuz there is a chance that all of your created teams might be deleted and you will have to start again.

Found a 3rd party website that posted what the EA guy said (still no link). They also went on to say in another post that quite simply that a early working file of the rosters got into the game versus the final rosters.

Hey guys... so we are aware of the issue with no (or few) freshmen on some teams in TeamBuilder and yes the same issues are found on the NCAA 10 disc. Over the past few days, one of our top priorities has been investigating solutions.

The TeamBuilder teams require some data on the disc to set Depth Charts for every team created before they can be used in a game. For example if you use the Cupcake roster as a starting point, NCAA 10 will give you a default Depth Chart for the Cupcakes for your TeamBuilder team (which you can edit in game). This means any changes we make could cause some problems with teams already created using TeamBuilder. So we need to ensure we are taking to proper steps to correct the issues.

We understand the concerns with how this can affect Dynasty mode and Online Games, so we are working hard to have a solution in place before launch on July 14th.
