I'd be willing to play online sometime (PS3) but right now I'm avoiding online play due to the roster issues since I edited names on OSU (and maybe some stats :paranoid:) but unless someone who knows more than me about the issue can tell me it won't mess things up, I'll be avoiding online play for awhile.

you can play online, the roster glitch only happens when you are editing the rosters

Is anyone else having problems with getting booted while playing online? I've played 5 games on live and twice the game has frozen with an error message telling me that my disc is unreadable. I have no idea why my game would be scratched though because its only been in the case and my 360. I don't know though, maybe the problem is my 360 and I'm about to get the red ring of death. Any ideas?

My ranked record is 16 and 9.... I started off 1-6 so its pretty decent... Clemson is so great!!!! Their Defensive end Ricky Sapp is unstoppable I get 3-6 sacks with him per game... and their offense is great with a 90 overall qb (Cullen Harper) and the 2 star runningbacks.. anyone wonna play an unranked game sometime?

edit: it looks like all the names are in caps. I don't know if that's the only way to put them in or not...but it looks kinda weird. I'm too tired to check it out.

I had problems with this the past 2 years ('07 and '08), at least with respect to unreadable disc. I think mine was possibly due to my DVD-ROM going bad moreso than any original scratches on the discs. I'd had similar issues with other games too.

My DVD-ROM died in February, and I got a new 360. I haven't had those problems since.

What I did to fix my previous problems was I returned the games to Walmart (without a receipt since I didn't buy them there) and got new discs that way. Those seemed to work pretty well after that point.

So is it bad form to upload my own version of EARosters' work, with a few modifications (henton to thomas, thomas to posey, and posey to howard... among others) to OSU? I'm not looking to publicize it, just something to share with those on here.

Not at all...I did that and I changed a few things around. I'd like to download your roster file.

Nope. As long as you don't plan on making any money off it, I don't see the problem.

I'll post it once I've made the necessary changes. Thoughts on these changes, esp the upcoming ones?

Larrimore to Larimore
Henton to Flash (retain #7, despite Hines)
Flash to Posey (retain #8, despite Gant)
Posey to Howard (guessing on ratings, 91 spd, 91/92 agi/acc, 75 cov?)
Olson to Martin (kept ratings except +2 to 80 spd)
Skinner to Boren (tracking down '08 ratings, with a lil bump in awr and blk)

the more debatable ones:
Patterson to Buchanan (should he be a K or P)
Lane to Mobley (suggestions for ratings, perhaps someone to copy?)
