NBC Comedy: The Office, Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, Community

I really don't think they're trying any longer. The opening consisted of nothing but throwing cheesy poofs into mouths.

The MS Paper Company finally makes a little sense, and the Dwight/Michael rivalry could be interesting (if used better)... but they seemed more interested in setting up tension and drama than actual humor.

Yeah I like the storyline they've developed, we actually have a reason for this split besides being different.

Pranking Andy can be funny, squeaky chair, roof ringtone, etc. Not so much when the realization is 'oh yeah, he got me.'

I thought last nights episode was classic...Michael being his typical naive self, Jim pranking Andy (which I hope also continues with Dwight), the confrontation between Michael and Dwight was classic as well as the phone calls (which is typical Dwight). I'm interested to see where this Michael Scott Paper Company vs. Dunder Mifflin is going to go

I'm also a few episodes behind, but we watched 3 or 4 last night. I have to say, the 'Golden Ticket' episode was fantastic. I was laughing most of the show - especially when Dwight went ahead and 'fell on his sword' for the golden ticket idea. Michael in the Willy Wonka getup was great as well.

Agree completely... it's a LOT better now, die, while the office goes in the other direction.

Watching parks and recreation, last week, I couldn't help but notice some Office style humor, the type of which has been missing or weaker in The Office lately. Perhaps they borrowed some of the writers, or are at least not as focused on The Office these days, since it will survive some mediocre weeks?

I enjoyed tonight's Office. It seemed like more of the old style.

Michael telling Jim "whoa, boner patrol" was hilarious.

Agreed, hopefully it was a hiccup and now they're back on track. I'm relieved they're all going back to work and ending the M.S. Paper Company.

"Our balls are in your court".

Last nights Office was yet again classic. Hopefully they continue this for the rest of the season and into next. And I'm glad to see that they will be back with Dunder Mifflin.

Hey Dwight, how many cases have you cracked?
Jim you do not crack cases you solve them.

At least they seem to be back on the right track after what has been a pretty mediocre season. Prior to the last two episodes, it has been pretty dreadful with only a couple of exceptions.

ehh I disagree, I still thought the bulk of the show was good, just the way they went about it was mediocre, it needs to go back to how it was season 2. By far the best season, and hopefully it's like that next year
