No more hour episodes (just give me 2 half hours if you must), and let Kelly do this again.NFBuck;1407260; said:The last two episodes have eased my fears they were going back down the wrong path...good stuff. Michael breaking down during his seminar was awesome, as was Dwight and Jim giving Kelly a "nap" for her birthday.
it wasn't a great episode, but it was built more around the core style of past seasons. A lot better than the super bowl one.BuckeyeNation27;1407671; said:really? last night's episode was weak as hell to me.
Mr. Peanut is not classy. He is a regular peanut. He just happens to have a cane, a monocle and a top hat."
Michael: "That is what makes him classy."
Dwight: "My name is Michael, uh, Scotch, and I just wanted to say that I've got David Wallace's son in the trunk of my car. If he doesn't get on the phone in five seconds, I'm going to..."
Michael: "Idiot, what are you doing?...(Calls secretary) Hey, Stephanie, it's Michael Scott again. I just spoke with Michael Scotch and the son's going to be returned."
But this week, they are just trying too hard at this point to spice things up...Charles: "Whatcha got, Jim? What is a two-way petting zoo?"
Jim, quietly: "You pet the animals, they pet you back."
Yeah, a lot of the past two seasons have been spent veering away from what made the show so brilliant in it's nearly flawless first three seasons. It's still my favorite show on TV, but it has clearly started to reach...it's gone from the "mocumentary" feel of seasons 1-3 to more of a "sitcom feel" in 4-5.jwinslow;1438862; said:Last week had some classic lines, while still including the annoying "Angela becomes a bimbo" storyline. But this week, they are just trying too hard at this point to spice things up...
Angela turning into a hormone-crazed Kelly is bad enough in small doses, but it's now a core part of the show. Pam chasing after Michael, etc.
