NBA Finals - Celtics vs. Lakers

Kobe's third fould was one of the worst I've ever seen--he brushes by Pierce, who is setting a pick, barely makes contact, and Pierce of course flops to the floor like he got run over by a Mack truck. Pierce's patented move of throwing his read back as if he got punched in the jaw every time he is dribbling the ball and someone comes within two feet of making contact with him is also getting old. That dude is the biggest flopper in the NBA. The NBA is quickly allowing itself to become as flop-friendly as soccer.

i think lebron owns the title as biggest flopper in the league

Going back to L.A. for the next 3 games and I see Boston winning one of them and coming back home to finish it off.

As far as the fouls being called, just wait till Tuesday night and things will change as for some reason, the home team always gets the calls so forth.

I don't think it's going to change as much as people are assuming. The calls will be more down the middle, with Jackson calling out the refs they are going to, more than likely, be more consistent on both ends of the court. Expect the numbers to be closer to even. That's the real problem people are having, the calls weren't consistent, so I expect them to even out through the rest of the series.

laughable. Not in the same zipcode as guys like Ginobli, Verajo, Bowen. Then there's the brittle Wade, Hamilton, etc. Does Lebron beat out any the top-3 worst offenders of the Spurs? Not imo.

Nice edit :p

Flopping has become required if you want to get calls. Say what you want, but players do it and they do it because if they don't the calls seem to be ignored, hopefully with rule changes, we'll start to see a difference next year. Could be like the 70's, where people would just get fed up and pop someone in the mouth.

Agreed, Jwins. Lebron may grumble, bitch, & whine to the refs more than most, but he doesn't embellish contact nearly as much as some other guys.

That's what I'm thinkig too. I can't see the Lakers winning 3 straight (sweep) in LA. Boston comes home leading 3 games to 2 and only needing 1 win (game 6 or 7) at the Boston Gardens.

La has a D

Boston D is suspect. The big 3 can not save every quarter for ya.

Ray Allen was throwing up bricks until the last game, go figure and with pressure on him , he breaks.

how is that prediction treating ya? best defense in the regular season, best defense in the playoffs. Quite suspect. :roll1:

It's neither Pierce nor Lebron, and anyone that thinks otherwise hasn't been watching the Spurs or much basketball at all.

By the way, LA is done. There's no way they can win three in a row at home. There's no way they can win two in Boston. Series over.
