My swing feels like an unfolding lawn chair.
don't worry, the series doesn't start until a team wins on the road.

and lets put the LA has a better bench talk to rest...

1) Do not say that any team has a better player than the weakest player on the Celtics, hell, their coach could outshoot your best guy.
2) Regardless of your opinion, Pierce is seriously injured, it's a story for the ages that he can walk today.
3) Saying anything good about the Lakers will get Buckeyeinfla to come at you with piss and fire.
4) The lakers rebounding in game 1 is an excuse.
5) The refs in game 2 is an excuse.
6) And if the Lakers score 30 points at home in game 3, the refs are out to screw Boston.
That is all.

BOSTON: Banner No. 17 is halfway to the rafters. The Boston Celtics are two wins from another NBA championship.
And maybe a little lucky to be there.
Paul Pierce, darting around the parquet floor with ease, scored 28 points, the Celtics' defense mobbed Kobe Bryant long enough and unknown Leon Powe scored 21 points as the Celtics held off a remarkable Los Angeles Lakers rally for a 108-102 win on Sunday night. The Celtics have a 2-0 lead in these trip-down-memory-lane NBA Finals.
The Celtics had to work every second to get the win.
The Lakers trailed by 24 with less than 8 minutes to go, but pulled to 104-102 on two free throws by Bryant with 38.4 seconds left. But Pierce made
two free throws, then blocked a jumper by Sasha Vujacic, and James Posey made two free throws with 12.6 seconds left to ice it for the Celtics.

i do think LA wins game 3 because the FT's will be slanted toward them
buckeyeinfla;1180240; said:i picked them to win game 3 because i am assuming LA has a little pride and will be so desperate to win that they will get one...and it is that way in every NBA game..home team usually gets the calls...esp. now with jackson yacking away....but i said all along boston in six....still feel that way.....
OCBucksFan;1180261; said:Well, I don't really blame Phil for being pissed, 38-10 is a pretty large difference, especially if you watched the game and saw fouls that were out in the open and should have been called, like Rondo grabbing Gasols arm, pulling it to the side and knocking the ball out. I am not going to say "that's why they won" because I am not really that type of person, but I can understand the coaches frustrations.
