NBA Finals - Celtics vs. Lakers

A lot of those fouls are non-fouls on the Celtics. That's my gripe. Lots of ticky tacky stuff being called on LA. I don't mind if that stuff is being called as long as it's consistent. Look at the end of the half as an example. Gasol got mugged and no call.

Horrible game so far for these refs.

19-2 foul shot advantage. Biggest story of the game so far.

the lakers haven't tried to play inside...the screen on garnett was a bad call...but boston is being aggressive and they are going to the rim...plus LA's vaunted bench is a tad bit overrated

LA can't ahng under the hoop. I bet boards are fairly even but it doesn't tell the whole story. Lamar Odom just isn't built for this on the defensive end. Bottom Line.

Lamar has been pretty decent on the offensive end, but he allows Boston to do whatever it wants on the offensive end, even if he isn't directly involved in the play.

And the refs will sure as hell make sure LA takes at least 2. Don't worry LA fans, a quick series equals far less money and interest. Officials, without a doubt, know how to influence a game in the first quarter. This series goes at least 6, probably 7.

In fact, Boston winning the first 2 is good for the NBA, as most expect the Lakers to get it going in LA.

Plus, LA will make a push in the second half, so this game is far from over. Anyways, this series is far from over.

But when LA goes to the rim and there's the same amount of contact there's no call. If you're not getting calls when being fouled down low, you're likely better off taking jumpers. It's kind of a chicken/egg thing. Yeah they're not going down low, but how much of that is because they haven't been getting any calls? I'm not saying they'd dominate down low or they'd be going down low every possession, but they'd definitely be going down low more often if the game was being called evenly.

Just can't click on offense right now, turnovers isn't helping with trying to cut the lead. Looks bad but the series will turn, which the games looks in favor of Boston but 2 quartes still left to play.
