Great game by two great military academies!

My Dad retired as a Commander in the Navy and so I've always rooted for the Midshipmen growing up as a Navy brat. This was a bit bittersweet game though because my nephew is in the Army and soon to be commissioned to Afghanistan.

The Navy had no business winning that game. Yes, they came through in the clutch for the late TD but the defense that blew it right before halftime almost blew it again. I feel really bad for #8 - he was devastated after than fumble. May haunt him for the rest of his life.

Army ran the ball down their throats. Navy ran the same stupid "up the middle" play for 2 yards over and over. Navy's passing game was definitely better (more polished), but Army did throw the ball well in the clutch.

12 years and counting...

Let me just say what a great spectacle we were treated to on Saturday.
