I think NIL is going to be very interesting going forward. These 1 year deals with these pre-season stars won't continue if they don't come through on the field. 2 of the biggest names going into the 2021 season: DJ Uiagalelei and Spencer Rattler fell off immensely by the mid season and limped to end the season. It was ironic to watch Uiagalelei on so many Dr. Pepper commercials and his play was subpar, that's not only embarrassing himself and his team but the Dr. pepper company. Not sure how companies change that, or maybe they don't and they eat that embarrassment.

Many NIL deals have already built in clauses for a player leaving early.

They have escalation clauses after each year, and the ability to nullify a contract should a player leave. Texas A&M has already mastered this.

But good for the kids….seriously. This is life changing money.

I entirely get what you mean and as far as I'm concerned all of those taking shots at your opinion on this can get bent. Just because there has always been grime doesn't mean we have to be happy about moving the game into the pig pen. So many people want so badly for this game to become more and more like the NFL.... It's such a shame there isn't already an NFL out there that they could enjoy.

You can always go hard core into D3 football, where your dream scenario plays out every season. It's wholesome, love-of-the-game mediocre football that dozens and dozens of folks enjoy.
