They may have been a little slow to get an OSU Foundation together but there is nothing measured about putting Urban on the board/in charge of it.

This is a big time "we're not fucking about" move

No doubt, ultimately I’m happy if this transfers wealth to kids that play and represent OSU.

But there’s a total element of sleaziness with some of the people wanting their hand in the cookie jar. I hope it genuinely is focused on helping bring student athletes to the University and getting them fair market value for their talent.

I expect it won’t be that altruistic.

I like it’s out there. Light keeps rats away. Buyer beware. We’ve seen that with Ewers. The altruistic BS about ‘student athletes’ has been slaughtered. Heck even the ‘student’ part is over with all the side hustles going on, from Uber drivers to influencers to gamers.

I don't know enough about the Schottenstein kid to tell. Though, he does have a huge born on third base and desperate for everyone to applaud his triple vibe. I can tell you that having it run by a couple of former quarterbacks (who may or may not know what the hell they're doing) and a former coach who left his last three jobs under storm clouds and clearly feels that he's bigger than the university isn't giving me the warm fuzzies.
