what a surprise. like it matters....if he wanted a gun he could get one off the streets with ease and get ammo with ease.
exactly. so what is the point of passing gun control laws?

I always hear this, and yet I don't know where to get a gun on the streets. I have some shady friends, drug dealers and such, and still I can't get a gun on the streets with ease.

Huh.

must be you because i already know a couple people in the neighborhood where i could easily and cheaply purchase a firearm illegally. and i am not opposed to gun control laws in general but i am opposed to the extremes of the laws of beings too radical one way or another. you need moderation to make it appropriate.

Moderation no longer works. Time for stricter enforcement and the death penalty.

nothing will ever "work". say you take every single gun off the streets(which is impossible to do). people will just elevate their knowledge of bomb making and knife attacks. do you plan on shutting down local stores and their ability to sell cleaners, containers, and nails as well?

Question:

Do you think they will tear down the classroom building where a majority of the shootings took place?

I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to attend class in that building again.

Assuming they'd tear down the building a build a memorial but not sure.

I'm assuming the dorm where the two shootings took place would not be vacated but who knows.

Even with a handgun ban he could still get something like a AK carbine with a 30 round mag and kill many people.

The answer is to have police ready to attack any active shooter and not wait for a SWAT unit.

if your having trouble buying a gun outside of a gun store, your not trying very hard. what are you looking for specifically?

edit: people seem to be throwing around the words, "illegally purchased" alot when buying guns. not sure exactly what you guys mean. as far as im aware its not illegal for a private citizen to sell a weapon to another citizen. no background check is required and more than likely, the weapon will not be registered.

i dunno about that. i know there were some va tech faculty that said they had firearms that they would have brought onto campus and kept and possibly could of used but who knows the credibility to that. plus if guns are everywhere with everybody then it makes them much easier to steal and become accessible to. there are some stipulations that need changed but the way gun laws are right now are about as good as its gonna get. they talk about how it is going to put a stop to all these shootings yet a person like me with no interest could do the very same thing with guns rolling around illegally, a bomb, a car, etc.

the answer is to NOT disarm the good guys.

Ted Nugent commentary.

WACO, Texas (CNN) -- Zero tolerance, huh? Gun-free zones, huh? Try this on for size: Columbine gun-free zone, New York City pizza shop gun-free zone, Luby's Cafeteria gun-free zone, Amish school in Pennsylvania gun-free zone and now Virginia Tech gun-free zone.

Anybody see what the evil Brady Campaign and other anti-gun cults have created? I personally have zero tolerance for evil and denial. And America had best wake up real fast that the brain-dead celebration of unarmed helplessness will get you killed every time, and I've about had enough of it.
