I had this happen to me at the office, only it was the other way around, I had to start using FF instead of IE because none of those things were working. Still don't, I had even tried upgrading at the time to IE7, nothing. So I use FF at the office for BP and I use an IE variant (SlimBrowser) for all my other web browsing, although I admit I am really starting to like FF's features and add-ons. I would recommend trying what exhawg said though and uninstall and reinstall.
