I thought Tirico did a good job with his defense pre/post and during the game...Alberts and May were going insane all day long.

The other guy sitting with May and Alberts whose name I can't remember also tried to represent OSU's side, seems like there are at least a couple of trained journalists working for ESPN
You are being too kind ..
The other fluffer was there to act as devils advocate.
Tirico on the other hand took of on this more than once during the broadcast of the game.

Frankly what really pissed me of was studio and game broadcasters spending sooo much time on this _before_, _during_ and _after_ the game.
They could just as easily have fleshed out the half-time with a bunch of highlights -- more importantly that would have been the respectful thing to do.

Rece Davis is his name.

Trevie and May had their panties bunched up when we won the NC... all year they trashed OSU... they are reverting to their old ways...

I stopped watching sports center (tough to do)... I wonder if SI has picked up any business over this stuff... I'd have to think anybody crazy enough to pay for ESPN's rag, canceled their subscription...

Predictions of Geiger OR Tressel's Demise

Are way overblown.

Had no business dominating air-time during actual game-play.
Had little business spewing forth from the TAMMie duos mouths before or after the game.

And the underlying "story" had been known for approx 1 week, the "latest" revelation of the alpha booster and beta booster's identities since the day before game-day.

Fucking ESPN needs a ass-reaming.
Sadly May might just like that kind of Turkish Prison handshake.

Even in the worst of circumstances I do not see AG or JT getting fired.

The fact is we can do nothing but take it. They can say whatever they want now because an OSU player is guilty of exactly what they said was going on.

Troy Smith has given credence to everything that Clarett said about boosters making payments to players. All it takes is one.

Unfortunately correct. Still, a lot of the WAY they are reporting it is objectionable. I don't think anyone is saying TS shouldn't have been suspended or that it didn't happen and so on. Yes, it is newsworthy, and ESPN SHOULD report on it, since it's sports related. However, when they go off like Dipstick and Fuckstick did, something needs to be said.

It's shotty journalism. But, hey, if that's the rep ESPN wants, so be it.

I have a couple ?'s.

1. Last night Mark May said how Clarret drove a different vehicle all the time. Werent each one of his vehicles traced.

2. This shit happens at every school does it not?

3. It is always going to happen these are young kids and young kids like money.

4. Do you guys think it will stop if they have other boosters going to turn other boosters in? Like this time.

5. Also what did Mark May say about Maldanado, that had nothing to do with any of this.

6. For anyone to ? Jt just blows my mind. They need to know what kind of person tress is b4 they even think about saying he is involved in this shit. Hell he has ppl on bicycles following these kids to class, he loves this university, the god damn no good fucking retards need to get their facts straight.

7. Also I thought the crew that did the game did a nice job of either defending or staying on the fence. They didnt really try and degrade us like fuckhead and fuckhead two. Herbie really did a nice job, I know it was probably really hard for him. The one comment I didnt like was the thing Corso said how we are the new FSU and Miami. Well that is the perception I guess everyone else is getting, but please wait until these things are all proven and see what the coaches do. They don't give players like LI and IG second chances. They boot them and they make stay away.

I believe Tress is the right man for the job and he is going to take care of this shit how ever he has too. I think that at other schools these kinds of things are thrown under the rug, but since tOSU takes stands on these things, it is better.

Let me give a few examples: The kid from Oklahoma that beat some kid up, they applied for a redshirt year and they gave it to him. Why is he even on the team still. Miami with Willie Williams after all those problems he had why is he still on the team.

tOSU could of easily brushed the first clarret thing under the rug and said okay 4 game suspension and you can come back. Well Tress and Co knew he was going to get any better as he wasnt going to class he was doing things they asked him not to do like go on the gameday set so they booted him.

It always seems like it is tOSU that breaks the news and not someone else. Just like the Troy Smith news. It was broken by tOSU, not Espin. When Miami found out about WIllie williams they didnt do nothing about it besides try and brush it under the rug.

I hate the image that this university is getting, but I think we can overcome it, and I don't really care waht the fuck people from Espin want to think about our program. It is ok that May and Alberts are jealous of us for some reason.

College Gameday Bowl Special on right now. May was not bad!!

I'm one fan who believes that right now anyone can say anything they want about this program because of what Troy Smith did. His actions give all the recent allegations about booster payments credence and, while it sucks, it's the truth. We have to sit and take it.

That doesn't mean that I like it, and I've purposely been avoiding any highlights or commentary about the game last night.

But I was doing laundry and put on the TV and got caught watching Rece Davis asking May about the recent troubles at OSU and May was right on target with all of his comments.

May said that the "kids at Ohio State just don't seem to be getting the message as to what the rules are."

He also stated that he's sure that Ohio State is educating the athletes about the rules, but when dealing with "16, 17, 18 year old kids you need to keep repeating the message over and over and over again."

Trev was almost gushing about the Ohio State team for next season. He said that they are loaded with talent and they are definitely getting the job done on the field despite all the problems off the field.

All in all they were pretty much right on with their commentary, imo.

I listened to the game on Westwood One radio after watching the first few minutes of Gameday. Never again will I watch ESPN. I don't care if OSU is being televised or not. From now on I will listen on radio. Doc Walker did a very good job giving tOSU kudos throughout the entire evening.
