MW3 community czar Robert Bowling recently announced on Twitter that Activision issued over 1,600 bans and reiterated "any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in [Modern Warfare 3] will not be tolerated."

"Reporting [cheaters] in-game through [Modern Warfare 3] goes directly to our security team, who issues the bans directly after verifying," Bowling noted. "Every ban unique to the level of douchiness of the offense. The greater the douche, the greater the length. PermaDouche possible."

Most of the posters here strongly prefer BF3, hence the veritable ghost town this thread is.

I personally enjoy both quite a bit.

I'm loving kill confirmed, especially against dumbasses that sit in corners to get kills, yet never get tags. They go 15-10...and their team loses 65-15. :slappy:

Most of the maps are incredibly big.... Frustrating trying to figure out where everything goes and getting sniped. Usually takes me about a month or two to get a handle of everything, I have a life unlike some of the people who play online and have prestiged 8,000 times already

Amen! It is getting increasingly frustrating playing shooters anymore due to other priorities in my life taking away from my gaming... I wish I would see more level based match making

I don't think I've done a CoD campaign since the original MW. The last really good story mode I've played. Everyone since then seems to be really rushed.

I've had this since it came out. Really considering exchanging it for BF3. MW2 started getting so cheesy around the time Black Ops was coming out, but I think MW2 is far superior to MW3. I can't put my finger on it, but this game really drives me crazy.
