I know. Didn't excite me at all. I'm not sure how much I'll keep playing. This getting sniped from halfway across the map quest in rainy/misty/snowy conditions that are impossible to see in is really starting to wear on me.

My roommate bought MW3 and we've been playing a ton of Survival Mode and it's fairly fun. I doubt I'll ever play the multiplayer though.

did they add some new weapon that I didn't hear about? I was playing today and all of a sudden a countdown started like a Nuke from the MW2, the screen went fuzzy and all the other team players died but our team didn't. It was a weird.

if any of you guys wanna join me and my friends 216 cod elite clan, leave your GT here. we are currently a level 5 with 12 members. we are tryin to get to level 10 to unlock some double xp and a gold 216 clan tag.

This weekend I'm looking to pick up a new game and I've decided on trying out either MW3 or BF3.
I have "0" experience in either one would consider myself intermediate (at best) in FPS games.
I have Xbox Live but have never used it before and I do not intend to invest in a headset so I can talk to people over the game.
I'm seeking a serious recommendation - which should I choose?
I'm interested in enjoying myself, not getting "pwn3d"

By most accounts on BP and among my circle of military friends, Battlefield 3 is absolutely the way to go...
There is so much variety to HOW you can play on BF3.
I play both, I think BF3 is better, but I do enjoy MW3 too.
