In the playoffs when banging on a trash can couldn't be trusted to get the signal over the noise, the Astros were using a buzzer system and they taped under their jerseys to tip off their hitters. Here is Altuve concealing the evidence after one such buzz that resulted in a home run:

The Astros went from losing over 100 games in 2011-13 to winning over 100 a year from 2017-19. I see Houston's rise as more cheating-connected than the Red Sox, who while also cheating have been consistently competitive and Cora only managed them for 2 years. There will certainly be some more investigation into the 2018 Red Sox for sure.
