Agreed

This isn't 'Nam @Jagdaddy, we have rules here

Da Fuq? Thought I was on BP, not the Shag . . .

Anyway, that was 1992-93 and I don't have pics so you'll have to take my word for it (or not). She does keep getting better looking as the years pass though, possibly since I haven't seen her since 1995.

Fuck racism, spoiled college kids with nothing better to do but be pussies, the KKK, professional rioters, dumb ass professors, the state of Missouri when I have to drive through it from west to east or vice versa, the SEC SEC SEC, that guy in Lawton, OK that knocked me out for few seconds with a Heineken bottle, long rants not about college football in a college football thread, and above all else...FUCK Michigan!

I'm pretty sure that stores don't consider most black customers as potential shoplifters...

Getting followed around in a store and watched like a hawk is not an uncommon story among the black people I know. Doesn't happen every time they go shopping, but it happens enough to make their general experience different than mine because of skin color.

Newb question.

What is YikYak? Is it just a campus based anonymous message board?
Does it have any application outside of a college campus?
https://gimletmedia.com/episode/9-yik-yak/

Podcast Summary:
Yik Yak is an app that allows users to communicate anonymously with anyone within a 10-mile radius. At Colgate University in upstate New York, the anonymity brought out a particularly vicious strain of racism that shook the school.

This is one of those things that happens, but I think happens a lot less than many black people think because of an assumption by black people that they're being followed for racist reasons when in lots of shops you get watched like a hawk/followed just because salespeople are overeager to make a sale or, if it's a high-end store they're suspicious because you look like a slob. I'm white (except to people who doesn't consider Ashkenazi Jews white) and have been looked at suspiciously/followed in higher-end stores numerous times because I didn't bother to shave or wore a crappy shirt and have been followed a bunch by overeager salespeople for no reason other than their overeagerness. But when the latter happens and they ask "may I help you" I hear "may I help you" whereas some black people hear "what the fuck are you doing here?"

I get followed around in stores all the time. I've had the cops called on me for sitting in my car in a residential neighborhood, while the person I was with went into a house and I waited for them to come out. Everybody's experience is different. From a very early age, I was told by my parents never to argue with the cops, because they might shoot me. I'm not black. Are some people targeted because they are black? I am sure of it. But that is not always why people are targeted.

Sasha Menu Courey's parents support protests, football boycott at Missouri

Sasha Menu Courey was a biracial Missouri scholarship swimmer who, according to an ESPN investigation last year, was allegedly sexually assaulted by one or more Missouri football players in the spring of 2010 during her freshman year. As she was attending counseling, she was removed from swim team activities in January 2011.

Menu Courey's mental health continued to spiral downward, and she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. She attempted to take her life in a Columbia motel in April 2011 and was involuntarily committed to the campus hospital.

According to hospital records, while under police guard and heavily medicated, Menu Courey was presented with a university withdrawal form by an athletic department official, which she signed, placing her athletic aid in jeopardy.

Menu Courey died by suicide in a Boston hospital two months later.

I do hate that it is from Clay Travis, but a lot of what he says makes a lot of sense. How the hell is a poop swastika, in 2015, found by college students (hello, twitter? snapchat? facebook?) not out there right now? I'm not going to say 100% that it's confirmed to be completely based on lies, but doubts are now starting to creep up. Something just doesn't pass the sniff test. and I'm not referring to a poop swastika.
