I think bigfoot silva could give a lot of guys problems in the UFC. Fedor will never be a pushover. There is talent there,but overall it's not comparable with the UFC heavies imo.
Odd thing about last night is that werdum outstuck overeem,but his antics made it seem way off line. I'd like to see werdum get brutally ko'ed. His arrogance after he beat fedor is over the top.
People got all bent out of shape when Anderson was trashing talking his whole fight with maia.Werdum's butt scooting and begging overeem to get on the ground was one of the dumbest things i've seen in an mma fight.I realize he was trying to bait him to get to the ground,but that's just ridiculous to watch.

I was incredibly annoyed at this entire card, was supposed to be a great one, ended up being horribly average. KJ Noons was supposed to be SF's next big one, instead he got his ass beat. Josh Barnett stealing the mic from Gus and proceeding to look like a WWE douche bag annoyed the fuck out of me. And the last fight was a completely shame to the sport. Saddest part is Overeem didn't really do much, and was still gassed at the end of the fight.

Nate Marquardt is supposed to release a statement explaining why he wasn't allowed to fight tomorrow early afternoon. It apparently wasn't a failed drug test, or they would have been allowed to have revealed that much. Will be interesting to see what the medical condition is and why it wasn't corrected in time for the fight.

My wife thought Pat Barry was dead. Her first ever show and she said " OH my god... IS HE DEAD?" haha. his eyes rolled left and he did have the dead man stare....pretty funny stuff. I think 19 out of 20 fights get stopped after Kongo was knocked down for the second time.

Watching the live stream on mmafighting.com, and Nate Marquardt says he has been on hormone therapy for low natural testosterone, and that his testosterone levels were too high leading into the fight as a result. Marquardt also added that his levels were within acceptable range the morning of the fight. His suspension from the committee could be lifted as early as tomorrow. This is the same thing that Sonnen got suspended for IIRC.
You can see one of the ring girls with an absolute look of horror in the background right after the knockout. It's worth seeing if you have the fight DVR'd.

How happy is Dana shifting this fight up to the main event of the Versus card and getting fireworks like THAT! I'm sure he was thrilled, and both were given generous fight bonuses considering it wasn't supposed to be the Main Event.
