This is true. Neither have really been that strict. (All of Team Hemmer House comes to mind first) What they do is after the event in both organizations they randomly test a certain amount of people. (not all) Many have tested positive and they do not really have strict consequences.BUCKYLE;804046; said:I thought I had heard that Randleman had tested positive. I had also heard from a guy at work who has followed MMA for a long time that he thought PRIDE was more lieniant concerning drug screening. Of course, he may not know jack shit.
Ya. I am looking at this fight kind of like a Belfort fight. I really hope it is old Igor, but who knows what we will get.bassbuckeye07;804416; said:Going to have to explain to the wife why im authorizing another fight this sunday... I cant believe Silva is comming back that fast.
The last I heard they were thinking about doing a deal with HBO. HBO's shows would be in addition to their shows on Spike and their PPVs, not a replacement.DaytonBuck;805832; said:I was told that the UFC is trying to move some of there PPVs to HBO. Any truth to this?
bassbuckeye07;804416; said:From what I understand PRIDE only tests for steroids in fights that are sanctioned in the US. In Japan they turn their head. Randleman actually didnt test positive. His urine had no human hormones which indicate a fake piss test. http://www.mmanews.com/pride/The-Fight-Network-Confirms-Kevin-RandlemanDrug-Test-Story.html
Going to have to explain to the wife why im authorizing another fight this sunday... I cant believe Silva is comming back that fast.
