Not going to lie the fights from Saturday blew. I wanted to fall asleep watching it. And unfortunately had to watch it because the Bama/LSU game was shit.

Excited for Saturdays event though!

That was a great fight, all around. Can't imagine why Fox didn't want to air that fight as well. Airing just one fight live, that might end in seconds, is poor form. No one cares about this half-hour of build up they're airing now.

Ring rust + JDS boxing ability = boom. Didn't think that was going to happen, but thought that it could. Also, looked like one fighter came into the fight in better shape.

I think it had more to do with Fox only wanting to air one fight. Why? Who knows, just what I'm hearing.

Benson is a beast. Ever since his first fight with Donald Cerrone, I've been a big fan of his. He may be my new favorite fighter, changing of the guard of sorts.... From BJ Penn to Benson Henderson.

Pretty sure they only had an hour time slot. I also read somewhere that their fox contract doesn't go into full effect til the new year. People complaining now will really be complaining since they are only going to show lower tier fighters on it.

Eh, the every day UFC fans won't be surprised... The UFC "fans" will be outraged by it. I view UFC on Fox like I viewed Fight Night on Spike and UFC on Versus. Not huge fights, but some REALLY good matchups littered throughout the cards.

As for the hour time slot... I could have done without the half an hour build up. Sure it's Fox's first card and what not, but if I wanted to watch the build up, I would have watched the UFC preview on Spike (or whatever station they show those on now).
