GSP out for most of 2012 with a torn acl. Nick Diaz will now take on Carlos Condit for the interim title. Mike Pierce steps in to take on Koscheck.

It's a shame that arguably the best pound-for-pounder is out with another major knee injury. The silver lining is that Diaz - Condit will be an entertaining affair, for however long it lasts.

For an interim belt too. So all is not lost with this fight by any means. And I'd almost rather Diaz face Condit. Diaz would respect GSP too much. Whereas Condit, he'll call him a bitch to his face.

Classic example of Joe Rogan all over someone's nuts until... the tide turns in a huge way. Sometimes he's good, in this fight, he was horrible. Didn't give the champ credit for any of the good stuff he was doing early in the fight.

Unbelievable subs in the last two fights tonight.

Also wanted to add how fantastic Jones is at plagiarizing great new techniques of other fighters. Tonight, Jones utilized the standing guillotine choke in a very unique way - a la the way Cody McKenzie utilizes his guillotine choke on the ground - by hitting the artery on both sides of the neck, which often puts the opponent to sleep faster than they realize and they usually don't tap before falling asleep. To see Jones adopt that in a standing choke is brilliant. Any fighter with longer arms would be wise to add the Cody McKenzie choke to their arsenal.

Well, I hope OSP can oblige you in your hope. I checked out a few youtube videos and OSP seems to have plenty of knockout power in his feet and hands.

According to sherdog forums Mousasi's standup is better then anderson's. His chin has been tested by scientists and its actually harder then granite. His ground game is so good that people are actually considering changing the word "guard" to mousasi. Also, when he signs with the UFC he will destroy bones jones.Oddly enough most of his fans are fedor fans as well...Go figure. BTW bump for the fights tonight.

Super excited to see Cerrone -vs- Diaz tonight at UFC 141.

Not real pumped about the rest of the card though.

Agreed. Regarding the card as a whole, I'm surprised the Nam Pham fight made the pay part of the show.

On the Cerrone - Diaz fight, I don't know that Diaz will win, but those aren't bad lines to make a bet. Same with Lesnar - has he ever been an underdog in Vegas (Valasquez?)? I think that fight is a close call - there's a real chance Lesnar could just take Overeem down and pound on him. Neither one has cardio. Anyone know if any online sites allow parlays for MMA?
