awesome time last night.. i almost brought a video camera and wish i did..

there was a dude who decided to climb a tree over where we were camped out.. the cops were just laughing and shaking their heads until he got about 30-35 feet up into the tree damn near the top. The cops were flashing their lights at him and pictures were being snapped, we thought we were going to see him fall down and hit every branch. After he noticed the cops, he balanced himself on the branch and made a run for it..

he got about 3/4ths of the way out on it before slipping/jumping and cleared all the branches except for the last and smacked into the water.. swam to the middle of the crowd and got away.

whoever it was, he was lucky as hell. anyone else see this dude?

The cops are never there to bust it up, just there to help people if they need it. Heck, half the time they're on the hill by the faculty club doing OH-IO chants.

That video was good. "I'm a Mountaineer, not a Buckeye. I have no penis, waaaaaa!"

Sorry dude. I was like, way hammered and couldn't find a bathroom. I didn't notice you were there until I was already going, and by then the crowd that had gathered to watch the pigeons poop on you was cheering me on. I feel bad about it, seriously.

I'm about to begin preparations for Mirror Lake. This is my first year in grad school, but I jumped four times as an undergrad; '04, '05, '06, and '07

I'll keep jumping until it stops working.

Girlfriend and her roomate aren't jumping in, so they're taking pictures. And I of course am jumping in with the rest of the guys in the house
