Coach Dantonio characterizes Urban Meyer's recruitment of Se'Von Pittman as "unethical". I have all the respect in the world for Dantonio, but he's wrong on this one.

If going after recruits that are committed elsewhere is so wrong, why were the Spartans continuing to recruit Kyle Dodson?

Nevermind the fact that some of these kids may never had committed elsewhere if not for the turmoil of last season, or if it had been Coach Meyer recruiting them from the start. The only people who consider this unethical are the ones who come out on the losing end. I also get a sense that some of these guys tacitly acknowledge that they reside in a lower weight class than Urban Meyer and Ohio State and that they feel it's unfair that it's one of the big boys picking on them rather than somebody their own size.

Tony Gerdeman has a pretty good rant going on Twitter. I'm not going to link it all or copy it here, you know how to find it.

What a bunch of whiners in the Big Ten these days.

My god, did anyone here throw a fit about Zooker "stealing" Justin Green right before NLOID?

Hey, fuckos. They aren't your property. They can go wherever they want to go. And if they want to hang up on Meyer, they can. Nobody is making them answer the phone.

Was it unethical to push Pittman for a commitment before OSU could get a staff in place? No, it's part of the game. Would OSU fans have said Sparty was unethical for asking him for the commitment? No.

God. Everyone in the Big Ten has turned into a fucking limpdick pantywaist since Meyer got here.

EDIT - AND IT'S FUCKING AWESOME! :banger:

Hey Dantonio read this:
Brandon Castel
For the record, Meyer said Se'Von Pittman "recruited us after a while. He always wanted to be an Ohio State Buckeye."

And this
When Dantonio took over UC, he cut ALL of his commits loose and started over. Of all people, he should understand new staffs and recruiting.

So is it more unethical than cutting all committed players and not giving some of them their scholarships?
