Mike Dontonio (get off my lawn!!!)

I hope he recovers quickly without any complications. Loved that ballsy call last night, and he seems like a good guy.

At the Big Ten kickoff meeting in Chicago last month, I had a 2003 tOSU Spring Game program I was having him autograph for a friend. When he saw the old picture of himself, he laughed and showed it to LB Greg Jones, saying "Look at that good-looking young guy". I liked they way he was joking around with one of his players.

 I'm really, really, glad he won the game. Can you imagine being the guy who dropped the ball to lose the game, only to have Coach D have a heart attack hours later??? The guy would need years of therapy.

He's a Michigan State football player. One way or another, he'll need years of therapy.

Hope he has a fast recovery.
Great call on the winning play coach D! It's calls like his that will start the road to greatness as a coach. That play will be talked about for a long, long time.

Stress is always relative, but this goes to show that few careers (if any) are more stressful than being a big time college football coach. I just don't see how these guys maintain any sort of balance with what it takes to get to the top. If anything, it is a surprise that this doesn't happen to more coaches.

Glad Coach D is ok. I hope he can get back on the sidelines soon. The Big Ten is a better league with him around!

Questioning his discipline, Rucker got out of jail today and is back with the team after his second run in with the law. If he plays on Saturday I will lose a ton of respect for him, the reason why you have so many players getting in trouble is because you keep letting them come back, obviously he hasnt learned anything from the Glen Winston incident.

Just saw Rucker will travel to Iowa but will not start but could play. :shake:
