As for your second statement, are you saying M*ch*gan is not trying to win a Natty? Or Penn State? I know the Penn State fans are really angry that they haven't made it to the stage. I can only imagine that the M*ch*gan fans are still mad that they can't pass the next step.
Since 1970, the Big Ten has 2 1/2 national championships. Over 50 years……
Michigan 1997 (1/2)
OSU 2002
OSU 2014
Is Michigan trying to win national championships? Maybe certain years if the ducks are in a row. Michigan doesn’t acquire the recruits like Georgia, OSU, Alabama, LSU, etc. Michigan has to get lucky in landing a top 100 recruit, find undervalued recruits, transfers, and focus more on development. I would love to see what this staff could do if they pulled in classes like Georgia.
I’m also speaking for the Pedsters. They have nice talent, but it’s the same type of talent as Michigan. More of a top 2nd tier in terms of raw talent. A lot of shit has to happen if Penn State or Michigan wants to win a national title. Certainly capable, but recruiting needs to be better (can’t have off recruiting years) and the coaching has to be far better in game planning when they go up against OSU and the top SEC schools.
