Yeah, Fickell will be a pain in the ass in the B10. Hope he stays as UC or goes to another conference, although I doubt he'd turn down MSU.

MSU and ND seem most obvious destinations... possibly Ped as a dark horse.
I'd prefer MSU.
Another similarity Freeman:Narduzzi as elite DCs. If Freeman leaves, does Fickell lose his mojo like Dantonio?

Fickell's ties to Ohio high school coaches and subsequent recruiting ability are what would concern me more than X's and O's.

This is part of what makes me think MSU - Fickell is a natural fit. I can't see Fickell ever being a big 4-5* recruiter... but he'll clean up on 3stars around Ohio (and Midwest). The downside is that they'd be a thorn in our side again. The upside is that it would open a 2nd front against Harbaugh and his inability to develop talent... I can deal with it, though. If there's going to be a strong #2 in East, I'd rather MSU than scUM or the rapist U.
